Georgia Medicaid authenticator

Updated: Jul 11

Update: I still recommend when you first create your login for GAMMIS to take a screenshot, but for some reason if you did not, you can always call Medicaid web portal support during business hours to have it reset. 877-261-8785

Once reset, you will see the same screen pop up below, save a screenshot to save yourself time.

Some of you might have seen the code pop up on Medicaid's web portal already asking for you to connect to an authenticator app.

Please note, tell your staff and anyone else this info who logins into the Medicaid web portal...

The first person who see's the screen pop up with that FIRST request, please make sure you take a photo of that actual page and save it immediately. Example of taking a photo of that screen:

By taking a photo, you'll have the info saved in case your authenticator app doesn't work, lose your phone, or other scenarios where you'll need this info in the future. There's an email address in the photo above that helps you add it to ANY authenticator apps. So you can use this same photo for several phones. If you're a clinic that has several different people logging into the same login on Medicaid, which you're not supposed to do but.... Have each person use their phone to take a photo to add to their authenticator apps. This way they do not have to ask you for that code over and over, they can use their own authenticator app that will create a code for them. iPhone users: When you aim your phone at the image example above, it will go into your passwords/keychain area. To find this section on your iPhone: search in settings, hit passwords with the key icon next to it. Every time you need to login to Medicaid you will have to go here to grab a code for logins If you've went past this step and need to get the access code again to set up the authenticator, contact medicaid at 877-261-8785.
